With over 10 years of experience in portrait photography, I have honed my skills to ensure you receive stunning images that reflect your true self. I’ve worked with hundreds of seniors and professionals, and my work has been featured in local publications and exhibitions. Whether it’s a senior portrait session or a professional headshot, I bring expertise and creativity to every shoot.

SENIOR PORTRAITS

I specialize in creating vibrant and memorable portraits that reflect your personality and achievements. Whether you're a high school senior ready to celebrate your graduation or a college student looking to make a professional impression, I’ve got you covered!

  • The senior session includes an on-location session at your home or agreed upon location lasting approximately 1 hour. Includes ALL edited high resolution digital files from your session, delivered via direct download with print release. Images will be presented in a private gallery for online sharing. Prints and wall art may be purchased directly from your online gallery. Albums are also available for purchase.

    Travel is included for up to 30 miles from zip code 27612.

  • We will have some fun while capturing this very special time in your life. As a senior, you do not need any more stress in your life, so we will make this senior portrait process easy and fun! Once you’ve booked your session, we’ll decide on a time and place based on your hobbies and activities or anything you envision. Perhaps you play a sport or an instrument—we can incorporate that into the shoot. If you love the outdoors and have always imagined having a photo shoot at the lake, then we can make that vision come to life.

Headshots

Perfect for college students or professionals, this 30-minute session focuses on capturing your best self for LinkedIn, websites or resumes. These sessions are taken in my studio or on location and include multiple outfit changes and poses.

  • The fee for this session will be $150 plus tax. Session includes on-location session at your home or agreed upon location lasting approximately 30 minutes. Includes ALL edited high resolution digital files from your session delivered via direct download with print release. Images will be presented in a private gallery for online sharing. Prints and wall art may be purchased directly from your online gallery.

  • Come with multiple outfits and ideas for your images! We will capture a variety of poses that will be perfect for updating your website or Linkedin profile.

School Photography

Workshops

Are you ready to learn about your camera, photography and Lightroom editing ? Come to my in-person photography workshop. Bring your camera, and we will explore all the buttons, learn how to set up your camera for success, and take part in some hands-on learning in a fun environment. These class sizes are limited, so there will be plenty of time for questions and low-stress learning and shooting. Also available for one-on-one mentoring.

Step 01

Book Your Session

Pick a package and choose a date that works best for you. I'll send over a short questionnaire to learn more about what you're hoping to get from your session. We’ll discuss your vision, outfits, and location to ensure everything is perfect.

Step 02

The Session

Enjoy a relaxed and fun session where we capture your true self. Multiple outfits are encouraged, so come ready to show your personality and individuality. Posing is easy and natural.

Step 03

Editing and Delivery

After the shoot, I’ll professionally edit your photos and deliver them in a password protected online gallery, ready for you to share! If your package includes printed products, we will decide what images to use, and your treasured images will be printed up in a beautiful format for you to enjoy.

  • While it is not required, (we want you to look like you!) you can certainly pamper yourself by getting your hair styled and makeup done before the session. Makeup should be natural. Men should plan to get a haircut the week before the session.

  • At least two weeks before your session, you’ll receive a questionnaire to complete. This will help me not only get to know you better but create a customized session for you!
 At the session, you can expect to relax and have fun while I guide you through fun poses that feel natural.

  • Parents do not have to be there for your session. It is totally up to you! If your mom or dad decide to come to your senior session, they are welcome to step in for a shot or two!

  • You are welcome to bring your pet for a few shots depending on location. Be sure to have someone who is able to handle the pet for the bulk of the session, since this time is all about you!

  • Just relax and have fun! We will create some beautiful images!

  • My portrait sessions usually last about 1 hour. Headshots are up to 30 minutes.

  • To keep things simplified, I generally like to stick to my studio or one of Raleigh’s beautiful parks! We can get a variety of images with simple backdrops. Let’s make the most of our time together by focusing on creating beautiful photos instead of traveling place to place.

  • Each session allows for two or three outfits if you want.

  • About a week after your session, you’ll receive a gallery of the images from your session to view! From there, you are able to select and order the images and share the gallery with your friends and family. 

Once the order is placed, you will receive your beautiful prints from my lab to your door in two weeks. (or less!)

  • Decide on a palette of 3-4 colors to base your outfit on (including both pants and dresses). If you need ideas, my Pinterest board or this post on 7 Tips on What to Wear to a Photo Session might give you some inspiration.
